The race is divided into cross-country race, downhill race, hill climb race, four-person cross-country race, two-person pole race and sectional race. China's domestic non-professional mountain bike races are mainly held by some tourist attractions, such as the annual mountain bike race held in Long Hu Mountain Scenic Area in Jiangxi Province, which has become the largest and most influential mountain bike race in Jiangxi Province with the largest number of participants, and its influence is also second to none among the many mountain bike races held in scenic spots in China.

China Cycling Association (full English name CHINESE CYCLING ASSOCIATION , CCA for short) was founded in 1959, joined the International Cycling Union in 1979, and registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs in 1991. 2019, as the first batch of competitive sports project associations to participate in the Ministry of Civil Affairs social organization assessment.
